The progress so far on the side courtyard. Had to remove all the rock, the landscaping fabric and the old flagstone. Level it all out. Then bring in the new flagstone (which we hauled three carloads worth ourselves—shit is heavy, Bruh). Finally, arranging them in a wider path to more easily bring through wheelbarrows and mowers etc without spraining a dang ankle on the little rocks! Now, we have to sink the new flagstones and level them out to align with each other and then, put the little rocks back in. Way harder work than you’d think and those massive flagstones are crazy heavy.
