This picture means a lot to me. The barber in the middle is Rob @originalrobschopshop from Dallas Texas. As a kid in the rockabilly scene in San Antonio I’d hear about him and his shop for years, about 16/17 years ago I met him in Dallas at the first pistons and paint show. Later on I got to help him take his barber chair into his shop and mentioned I was thinking about being a barber. He encouraged me to do it. And the man in red is Donnie Hawley founder of @hawleywoodsbarbershop and @layriteofficial he’s another guy who took barbering to another level. These men traveled the world cutting hair at rockabilly festivals and it showed a new wave of barbers what can be done. It’s always cool to meet and get a pic with people who inspire you daily. Just three men who grew up in the rockabilly life and are making some cash cutting up some heads. We were getting nostalgic on how it was being laughed at because of how we dressed and drove old cars and cut hair. Look at us now. There’s probably about 75 years of barbering combined in this pick. These two barbers are the coolest ones on the planet if you as me. #layritepomade #robschopshop #hawleywoodsbarbershop #christhebarber #bandofbarbers #barberbrotherhood #barbersdoitfrombehind #worldwide (at Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwkLv0-ljpB/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1runbt5a00c40
