Making my own OpenPicus Wifi Board. The circuit is getting a bit complex as I am trying to fit it onto a spare piece of 9cm x 6cm double side PCB.

Electronic CAD packages
That time again!
I am frustrated! After spending weeks designing, and identifying suitable components and materials for LEDCube, I am now wrestling with component layout, and the rats nest of unconnected pins in EAGLE CAD.
I usually arrive at a compromise after redoing everything 4 or 5 times. It would be an excellent idea to inject some intelligence, into the process of component layout.
For example, imagine a CAD program with the ability to recognise, that a resistor connected to a LED, should be placed next to that LED, and so on.
I will look for solutions and post the results in my new EAGLE blog.

PTH08T230W Power Module
I am using the PTH08T230W power module in a new design - LEDCube. I have created an Eagle library part .lbr so that it could be used in a circuit. The library part file will be uploaded to Robotonics for all to use.
