Lately, I’ve found myself more idle than normal so I’ve been doing robot doodles. When I was a kid I drew armies of robots. I’m not sure I turned in any homework in jr high that didn’t have a robot or two drawn in the margins. More than once I had to explain myself to a teacher. I hate how I miss the old games we used to play. I hate how I adapted and started to enjoy trying to figure out how you would scare me next. No one seemed to stay dead for long in this world even though at the time I thought differently. It was scary and I cared so much, I did almost anything to keep him, her, etc alive and I knew how to escape you. I was never bored at this time. I even knew why and who. I also knew how to fight back. I had a controller but I could control also.Â
I miss the old game of cat and mouse. I miss you and the aliens I befriended, I was never alone for long then. Everyone seemed like an extension of you and my alien friends my only weapon. That’s all I needed though. I knew what and why and I had a purpose. To keep him and myself alive, and to maybe get you to change your mind and ways. Maybe I could win you over and you wouldn’t hurt or hurt others then.
Now all I have are vague memories of who you were and what it was all about....but I don’t remember why and the people who helped me. I know you are different now, but I miss when things made sense and when I knew who the bad guy was.
