Dream 33
Hover plane floating just above the mysterious black surface of a foreign planet, the only thing visable from the ship was a planet seeming to be made of blackness except for the puffy white clouds that outline its atmosphere and a crashed ship, a single rock shaped like a dreidel floating above its surface. Being on a solo mission with just myself and the two pilots of the ship, we jumped down to the crashed ship to explore. The outside of the ship was steaming everywhere it connected to the abyss-like surface of the black planet, the inside trashed and empty. My copilot, who was a robot, strapped on the only jet pack we had so we could start to head up to the floating rock, us following him in the ship. Out of nowhere we were intercepted by other people with multiple jetpacks, one of who punched the robot co-pilot out of the air. He took his attacker with him as they both plunged into the void-planet and disappeared in a puff of steam, the hostile spaceperson emitting a cut-off scream. The enemies shouted 'the prize us ours, perish down there for all we care' as they rammed into the engines on our plane, toppling it into the void-planet where it landed upside down, steaming against the black liquid. I had a suspicion about what the black liquid is and took out my tablet to search acids. Finding a match of a weak acid that disolved organic materials faster than non-organic ones, I showed it to my pilot. She realized that our ship was doomed, but that we could excape though the emergency evacuation device. Making our way to the cargo bay from the bridge, the acid having crept up further than before, we found our robot friend laying on the floor having dragged himself out of the acid. He was missing a lot of his synthetic skin and some pieces of his head, but he strained into a standing position and asked for a report. Remarking that he looked damaged, I told him that we were looking for an evacuation device to excape the acid. Scanning the bay, he pointed out a device. Grabbing it off the wall, we find that it was an anti-gravity device that reduces and reverses gravity in a pillar going up. Running to the front of the ship, we use it to get up ontop of the floating rock, spotting the hostile spacepeople from before. As they were too suprised to react, we ran past them twords the stone steps that are carved into the stem of the dreidel-shaped rock, both of our groups trying to get to the abandoned building at the top first. Our robot pilot stayed behind to fight them, buying us time as we ran through the doors of the abandoned stone chapel and tried to find The Disk. The building had papers and candles strewn about, our rummaging only making a worse mess as we tried to find the purpose of our mission. I heard an exclamation of success, followed by a yelp, following the sourse of the sound to find my companion held in the air by the enemy leader. Seeing that she had dropped the disk and the anti-grav device, the enemy distracted, I nabbed both as I ran by before jumping out the window. Using the anti-grav device to reverse gravity, I floated up to our main ship above. At least The Disk had been acquired.
