finally posting my....long overdue....still technically a WIP.......... Lisa Frank minor arcana tarot cards (the finished ones) !!

these are of course inspired by the amazing and talented @arielhart who created the original Lisa Frank tarot cards

a decade of art! 

2009 - this is the year i got my first tablet (a small wacom bamboo fun) and this was my first real drawing! 

2010 - my art was steadily improving! i was also spending A LOT of time on iscribble 

2011 - more ocs! and trying to be more creative with design/colors

2012 - even more ocs! 

2013 - i make my first attempts at a more “realistic” style! 

2014 - the year of the hot dad.......i was making a lot of strides in my art with backgrounds and colors in general. this is also the year that i started drawing fanart for steven universe! 

2015 - still developing my “style” and making more su fanart!

2016 - making A LOT of su fanart

2017 - A LOT

2018 + 2019 - still making su fanart!

sometimes i still feel like that person using their first tablet and trying to get a feeling for “real” drawing, like i’m just beginning, or like i haven’t really made any progress at all. but looking back over the years i know that i have! over the past few years i’ve felt like my “passion” for art has decreased, and with it my ability, as i’ve made less and less art. i’m going to work on getting it back and making more art, if only for my own sake. i hope that i will have made even more and better art at the end of the next decade.
