I'm not really the person to come for advice since,well,I can't really draw all that well but let's see..

Personally I don't do fullbodies much and when I do I get myself a reference cuz I find it harder to freestyle anatomy in my style

BUUUUTTT,Firstly I suggest not drawing the head+shoulders detailed at first,then continuing the drawing,since you don't have a plan it can look a bit odd

For example:In the first drawing,I drew the head and shoulders detailed beforehand,without deciding what to do with the pose;But I messed up as I added the body because I didn't have a structure for it.

In the second I drew the whole structure at first,now I can keep drawing as I secured my plan.

With a bit fixing along the way,the drawing isn't gonna look deformed and the body won't look out of place!

Another thing you can do is trace bodies as practice,or just help in general. Make sure you aren't tracing art though🙏
