A theory I have regarding Liberator.exe...
...So in The Sims 2 on PSP, we are informed by Roberta Rossum that Dominic Newlow told her about a file which is supposed to grant her freedom, and the file is called "Liberator.exe", but upon replaying the game, it occured to me that the file doesn't actually refer to Roberta's freedom, but rather NEWLOW'S freedom!!! We know that Newlow is a character inside a videogame, which means he is programmed by the game developers, but Roberta on the other hand is a robot who is a character inside a videogame, meaning she is not only programmed by the game developers but also by Isaac who invented her as his robot wife! That's two layers of programming, and that's why, when we install the file into her, it peels away only one layer: Isaac's programming. This explains why she starts glitching and stops taking orders from Isaac, but doesn't necessarily exit the simulation. The file was never a virus; Newlow was just one step ahead.
