thinking about what tanner said on dallas's podcast, how having karate got robby out of trouble. and of course the people in the comments thought it was silly because look at how much trouble karate has caused... but he's not wrong!! karate took him off the path of becoming so far gone that he could never come back. robby would not be where he is today had he said no to learning miyagi do from daniel. without that introduction to miyagi do, he might've been further lost. even though karate brought some trouble to his life, it also gave him a path out of some darker places. without that experience, robby wouldn’t have had the turning points he did. karate was his saving grace in a way, even if it came with its setbacks.
