The character creation screen in World of Warcraft is built to A) introduce major components of each character race and class before the player begins while also B) minimizing difficulty when navigating between all of these. One of the best examples of this is when the player selects their race, the classes that race has available to them are displayed below as well, with the other classes grayed out. It guides the player while also giving them immediate feedback in regards to their choices, without making that feedback intrusive to the character creation experience.
