flowers bloom and you rest | OPEN RP POST;
It had been half a month since Colette had set out on her journey. She had traversed once again the familiar road that led out of Iselia, she had wandered the deserts of Triet and traveled to the seaside village of Izoold. Once again she boarded a ship that let her see the depth of the sea and then for a time she did nothing but offer relief and assistance to the broken city of Palmacosta.Â
But as a journey goes, one must move on to the next destination, so it was with the Chosen of Sylvarant, one of a handful of brave few that had saved and united this world. Once that task had been hers and hers alone, a lone Messiah going on a quest of which there was no return. How different her path was then! Each step she had taken had led to a certain, painful death -- but even then..
Even then if that was her death, slow as it had been, the loss of sense and heart ..the memories made on that road had sustained her. Had been enough to lay down her life for.Â
To imagine that such an action wasn't necessary..when all her life she had been bred and prepared as nothing more as a lamb to the slaughter..to where she was now, allowed to experience the bright world with sense, smell, taste and touch.
It never ceased to baffle and delight her as she awoke whether under bright sunshine or cloudy skies, heart singing the pulsing beat of one who was alive.Â
Was it any doubt that she was cheerful as she once again wandered the beaten path today? She was nothing particularly special, just a petite looking girl on the cusp of turning seventeen; hair as bright as sunshine, eyes a clear and honest blue. Perhaps it was the large pack on her shoulders; something that in no way supported the fact that such a petite girl was carrying such a heavy load.
For a brief moment she stood in the middle of the road, seeing no fellow travelers for miles on end. Green lands stretched beyond, this world that she had sacrificed and fought for. Aselia. Tilting her head back slightly Colette listened to the gentle whispers of the wind, eyes closing in bliss.
So next is the Seal of Water...
Her eyes opened slowly, cheeks flushing as she had quite literally stopped in the middle of the road in a fairly joyful reverie.Â
That's where..I wasn't able to sleep anymore.
Where Kratos had begun to stay awake with her on the nights her body could no longer sustain slumber. There was pain as well as fondness in those memories, wasn't there?Â
Shaking her head; she resumed her faithful trek through the countryside; the sight of a House of Salvation marking her progress.
"Ah, there it is!" It was cried to no one in particular, a bounce in her step as the tiny angel continued her straight way towards it. There she could consult with the person there and arrange to ride in ..--
I wonder if they still have those washtubs..
Either way, she'd make passage to the Seal of Water's location, which also happened to be the Thoda Geyser. Slowly but surely she was retracing her steps, steps taken as the Chosen of Sylvarant, the Savior of the World, or so they'd called her..even now they still called her that. The person she actually was..was hardly so grand. Or so she liked to think. No real savior would trip half as much as she did, would they?
Just the same..this time-- She was making them as Colette.
To her delight the closer she neared the House the closer a figure appeared in her line of sight, just above the road. Any unfamiliar face was considered friend and guide to her; someone whose existence provided an encouraging reminder that many like herself were journeying in this bright new world.Â
"Good afternoon!" It was customary of her to greet one who was drawing close; she had always been one to say 'hello' so why not now? Were they traveling towards the House of Salvation too?
Soon enough she drew near enough where the person in question was only a few distances apart from the girl; and with a tilted head she smiled  warmly in welcome.
"Are you journeying too?"
