People ask me "Why don't you talk to people?" or "You should be engaging so people recognise you."

But why don't I like talking?

The only reason why I don't like to talk is because I'm afraid of saying the wrong thing, especially when the other person gets really offended despite that I never meant to sound offensive.

Sometimes it's not always about general conversations, sometimes I just want validation. Especially if I show an artwork I'm proud of and the reply I get, which is almost always the same one, is people going "Okay we get it, just stop showing off!" I just want to keep my mouth shut.

Sometimes I wish my retired self would just be me making paintings, quills, and send letters to people.
