he's actually a pretty good cook

his mother never had the time/energy/money to cook for him as a child, so he learned himself

he has a few cheap and delicious recipes that the blue stripes absolutely adore

he doesn't enjoy cooking, but he does enjoy being able to bring his team family together

he never got to have family dinners as a kid so seeing everyone sit down and eat together is really important

roche taught all the blue stripes a few basic recipes after he found out they only know how to make boiled potatoes

ves was hesitant, she thought roche was trying to turn her into a house wife

she came around when roche gave her a beautiful set of knives and told her she was responsible for skinning the deer they hunted

roche has a deer stew recipe that he makes special for iorveth

iorveth will hunt the deer and then bring it home where roche will prepare the meal

whenever iorveth smells the herbs and spices roche uses for it he immediately knows he's home

when roche first visited corvo bianco marlene was pleasantly surprised at how well he knew his way around a kitchen

he showed her how he cures steaks and she showed him how to make jams

the two of them made corvo bianco a verifiable destination for both toussaintois and foreigners

when geralt's away, roach tries to read his books

it's a bit difficult with the hooves and all, but she has gotten fairly well versed in herbs

she tries to pick rare ones to appease geralt if she bucks him off in the middle of a fight

roach likes watching the horse races, but mostly to make fun of geralt with the other horses

of course she loves swimming

well, is it swimming if she's just walking on the riverbed? i think so

has remembered where greytop mushrooms grow and tries to lead geralt towards them
