I have a shitton of old sketchbooks in a drawer (mostly middle school and HS, I think--my elemetary school art was on loose paper so most of it got lost) so I wanted to reciprocate, but I was only able to look at a couple of sketchbooks before a fully-colored drawing of Tord from Eddsworld jumpscared me

Here he is! I based his appearance on the 1978 movie, if that's alright! I also did a version of him in my "realistic" style but it's only rough lineart so I put it under the cut.

Your ask made me remember the title of one of them, though, and that there was actually two. The first is where they're turned into kids, and the second is mental regression, but they both have a conflict surrounding class 1-A having to decide whether or not to tell them what happens in the future.

The first is Back to the Beginning by lucifer_nocturnal and the second is Who We Were and Who We Become by hazecraves. Back to the Beginning takes a fluffier look at things while Who We Were and Who We Become gets more into the angst, but both of them are overall pretty light.

the test post

currently, you can receive notifications. here are mine from the test post (wherein mrnnki-img created the original post and has not interacted with the thread since). they may change that. the wording in @/tumblr's post is weird as hell and honestly when I first read it, I had no idea what the change was supposed to be. you can already like individual reblogs. it was just a pain in the ass before. I guess maybe OP used to be able to see those likes?

I can believe that they might remove the ability to receive notifications in the future. but currently it is just a UI change. wording on the changes post ("As this rolls out over the next few days and you explore it") implies two possibilities: 1) this is it and only some people are getting it at a time or 2) they're going to slowly change the way notifications are delivered, and the UI change is the first step. Because they tend to roll out UI changes in waves and notifications kinda already work like that anyway, I'm leaning toward the former. But I can't really prove there are people who don't already have the UI change

either way, currently, the update hasn't changed that much. as I said before--maybe they'll whip out something stupid in a week and I'll go eat a dirty sock. I compared this update with wafrn/fedi in a different post because that's the feel it gives me. on fedi, all replies are entirely separate posts, but softwares like wafrn might display threads all together. the notification scheme is basically the same: only likes and boosts/rewoots on your post give notifs, all replies give notifs unless a person intentionally removes your mention (which some softwares like Mastodon don't even allow)
