šļø My Testimony: Faith Through the Pain šļø
Itās all about FAITH.
Sure, God could come down and do exactly what we wantābut Heās not going to do it just because we say so, or on our timeline. Everything happens in Godās time, not ours. š
When I was younger, I struggled to understand faith. But as I got older, I realized something powerful: God has been with me for as long as I can remember. I became a Christian at 10 years oldāI prayed, admitted I was a sinner, and asked Jesus to forgive me and save me. And by His grace, Iām saved through faith.
When my grandma was aliveāeven with dementiaāshe would always say, āIām praying for you.ā And I know she really did. Every day. When she passed away in December 2017, I felt the absence of her prayers. I canāt explain it, but I knew.
Then, the hardest loss of all⦠my mom. She passed away so suddenly at 64. I was only 41 and couldnāt imagine life without her. I was heartbroken and honestly angry with God. I didnāt understand why He would take both my parents.
But even in that pain⦠God never left me. About a year later, I started going back to church. I got more involved than I had been in years. Slowly, with Godās help, I began to heal. I felt His presence againāstronger than ever.
Thatās when everything changed. The kids and I started going to Sunday school, church services, and Wednesday nights. And I truly believe God led us there. I can feel His presence in our church.
Today, I have unshakable faith that:
ā God is REAL
ā God is ALIVE
ā And He is always workingāeven when we donāt understand it.
If youāre struggling, grieving, or just searching for something more⦠I hope youāll come to my church one Sunday soon. You might just feel what Iāve felt: the love and peace of a living God. š
