I don't want people to see these pieces as art because they are a large part of who I am today, but because of the artist and what she represents. To me she represents strength, pride and the power of hard work. She was a young widow who took her God given talents and moulded a future for many generations. Rebekah in her beautiful traditional wear traveled the world. Enlightening it with beautiful ceramics, who she is and awareness of where she came from. Rebekah to this day still rises at the 5 am at the break of dawn before the sun rises to tend to her field. She then spends her noons resting with a cup of tea under the shade of her favourite mango tree. Then spends the day moulding hand crafted luxury ceramics, with little more then a bucket, some water and some decorating tools.
