A slightly more personal post, but very much related to my art I'd say.

I completed my very first day at my new job as a professional Illustrator and Graphic Designer at an international healthcare company. It makes a nice change from being in the food service industry: At least I get to sit down.

But in all seriousness, it was a pretty good day. I was scared to begin with, but the specific office I am in only has 7 people, so it's not too overwhelming.

Although next week I will be pitching some new logo ideas after a meeting in London, with some pretty high up people from the US branch of the company (the European and American logos are different at the moment, they wanted a new one to be used by both). And then I'm off to Sweden the week after for talks and meetings and a tour of the manufacturing facilities! Ah! Exciting! ... But scary! .. .... but exciting
