@spaceskam‘s story about going into Brokeback Mountain blind had me remembering that when I was 16, someone recommended a movie to me that they’d recently watched, said they think I’d like it.
It was called 9mm with Nic Cage. I’m like, I’m a fan of Nic, not the best actor but surely entertaining.
You want to know what the movie is about?
Snuff films.
I was....bewildered to say the least.
It’s still a running joke between us. Whenever they recommend something, I ask if its got Nicolas Cage in it and get the biggest glare.
