On Sunday, I was walking back home from the metro at 10 pm because I make poor choices. It was dark and drizzly, kind of like an armpit but with petrichor deo. That was an awful analogy, I am sorry. Now I happened to glance down, and voilà!

There was a cockroach on the road.

And so I stared at it and I said, out loud, "What's up, babygirl?" because this is my life now.

It tried to scuttle away. Rude. But that was fine. Sometimes cockroaches play hard to get. Like that one in the kitchen that I rizzed. I am NOT putting that post here. If you dare, go lurk through the blog of @therizzedupcockroach or one of the ten other cockroach blogs I accidentally spawned. It's an infestation.

So I pulled out my phone, as one does, and I said, "Babygirl wait I gotta take a photo for the tumblr maggots."

It did not heed me. It tried to scuttle again but i managed a couple of blurry pics. Most cockroaches are unused to the paparazzi.

Don't ask me why I called it babygirl.
