Riverās Home
River, I donāt really have the words. I just hope that you do get this one day. I ordered it especially from you from my place - maybe it could be one of our places. The comic book store. I think of you everytime I go in there now. Seems a bit safer than trying to go through the woods on your property and find the heron. I miss you. Please try to find a way to let me know youāre okay. Summer āMotherfuckingā Savage
Included in the package would be a reproduction of the actual Vampires Everywhere comic from lost boys - as well as something that was difficult to track down and had taken up the most money. Another reproduction from the film - that of the best jacket in it. Marcoās jacket.
When River got the jacket and the letter it would be late in the evening on Christmas itself. Heād been so busy since he got back he didnāt even look under tree for himself and thatās where his father shoved everything from what was left on the door step. He had planned on going to Summerās the next day after Christmas because he was so beat, but when he saw this, he knew he couldnāt wait another second. He went into the tool shed and didnāt even bother wrapping the last present he had to give. Hell, it wasnāt even completed, but he didnāt care. He shoved something else in his pocket and headed out.Ā
He picked up the panel heād been working on and drove over to Summerās place and knocked on the door. Heād be holding the long, rectangular, incomplete mosaic style stained glass in front of him. It would be facing front so the image was seen and it stood from the ground to just above his waist. The heron would be complete, the mountains behind it, and just a layer of blue circles, no flower or moon yet. But, the frame was complete.
He was wearing the Marco coat and a beanie from the cold. But, heād wear an urgent face as he stood there. Heād even call in,Ā āItās me River! Please be home.āĀ
