These fish were worth every single step of the over 9 mile hike we did yesterday. To find a self sustaining population of wild trout as beautiful as this that were insanely aggressive, hiding in every single nook of the creek I would gladly do that hike again today. Last Sunday at the end of a great trip chasing cutthroat with @mrwerbs @intothewildwego and @dupeafish we came across this spot with awesome lighting. Bugs were hatching, the leaves were glowing and Aaron wanted to shoot some photos. I got in the water and he said just fish and kind of pose for a cool shot. This shot was my first cast and me yelling down stream what happens if I catch a fish. Haha. Thanks for the awesome photos and good times!
