Now that Idol Project has wrapped up successfully, I just wanted to thank everyone that took part. Your excitement and dedication to the event is what made it so great, and I was so excited to see what each and every one of you would do with the prompts each week. 

Idol Project Season 2-- this time for male trainees-- is on the horizon! We will not start that event until we have about 10-12 eligible trainees for it, so if you’re interested in participating in an event based on Produce 101 Season 2, send your male trainees our way!

Thank you all so much for being part of our little RP, and we are excited to bring you more cool things soon!

INTRODUCING: LIBERTY RECORDS & MILLENIUM ENTERTAINMENT

The admin team is very proud and excited to announce the expansion of rivalzhq! This Friday, we will be officially adding two new companies to the rp-- Liberty Records and Millenium Entertainment!

Liberty Records is the alternative in the K-Pop community, focusing on real musicians and bands, instead of the typical idol groups. They are well known for their different sound, and while some of their groups are considered more niche with a cult following, they have seen a lot of success going against the grain.

Millenium Entertainment is a collective for actors, models, comedians, and other performers who feel overlooked and underappreciated at the typical entertainment label. They also house a lot of directors, photographers, and other staff.

With the newer updates, it’s been harder and harder to keep up with the dash, considering it is no longer chronological. Because of that, starters have been getting lost. 

Moving forward, if you would like the extras blog to reblog your starts, we ask that you please send them in a dm to the main! Thank you!

i would first like to apologize for my absence-- I ended up with a lot on my plate out of nowhere, and found myself in need of some time away from the rp! in about a year and a half of this rp being around, i took my first real hiatus. i am sorry for kind of abandoning everything, but it’s what i needed to do for my mental health and executive function!

things will be getting back to normal soon! i am going to work this week on making sure the main is good and back up to date, and then on replies. things like idol project will be on the backburner until i feel like everything is in a good place again, but i promise, it will be back very soon! thank you all for your patience

While we have set positions available to be applied for, that is by no means all that can be applied for. new positions can be created within reason, to suit your muse ideas. extra positions in groups (i.e adding an extra member to reign) isn’t plausible, but creating new staff positions (i.e creating a position for a stunt coordinator) is absolutely doable, as long as it is within reason, and it is discussed with the admins first!

That goes for duos and trios too. While you and the other muns can’t come in and apply for a whole new 6 member group that you invented, duos are treated much like soloists-- if you have a duo voiceclaim and you and another mun have a great idea you have worked out, please come bring it to the main, and we’ll make your duo happen! trios are more rare, but absolutely doable too, depending on the company-- just ask the admins!! So, for example, if two members of the rp wanted a Dynamic Duo duo at Higher, as long as it was okayed by the main first and plot points have been thoroughly discussed and approved by Rose or myself, that is totally fine to apply for, even though a Dynamic Duo group doesn’t exist at this current moment. However, if you and a few other members pitched a StayC group that you all wanted to apply for at Siren, that would not work.

E-Sports will work much like duos and trios. When the idea of bringing E-Sports to the RP came up, I considered having open slots on teams, however that seemed limiting-- there are hundreds of games that have competitive leagues, and I have no clue what kind of games/clans/teams people would want to see. I think that the admins deciding in advance to have, say, and Overwatch and League of Legends team might be limiting to muns who want to bring in a pro e-sports athlete character, but might know more about Valorant instead (just as an example).  With that in mind, E-Sports teams are open to be applied for-- if you have an idea for a team, please come let the admins know and we can help  you make it happen! This can be for full squads (i.e you and 4 others want to apply for a pro Rainbow Six Siege squad), or a squad idea you have with open slots (i.e you have an idea for an Overwatch squad but can only find 2 other people who want to do it with you, which leaves 3 open spots for others to apply for if interested). 

I hope that clarifies some things up! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send them to the main! When in doubt, run something by an admin!
