Congratulations to Rivalry Rush for taking the Best Action Saxxy 2014 this year! It's cool too because a few of us from The Jewel Escapade team actually worked on Rivalry Rush, and we knew it was gonna be a good fight between that entry and our entry. We both enjoyed each other's works, we both worked hard on each other's respective entries, and we're happy for each other.

Thank you to everybody who voted and showed your support and enjoyment for The Jewel Escapade! I'm sure I speak for the team when I say that we all learned something from this project and we all had a great time working with each other and making a tale of a greedy Spy and a loyal Heavy fighting against Soldier and Scout security guards for a magical gemstone come to life. 

Congratulations as well to all the winners and the nominees - and a huge shout-out to each and every person who participated this year and gave it their all. Just because you didn't make it to nominees does not mean your hard work has been invalidated; a lot of you made amazing things that will always be remembered and linked around to friends when they want to show them your work. There is always next year, and there is always now. If you want to make something, don't let anything stop you, and don't even wait for the next year's Saxxy's - just do it then! It might not be perfect, it might not even be good - but as long as you keep it up and you're willing to learn as you go along, and you're happy with what comes out of it, then make it happen.
