10 (More) Pagan Date Ideas
A while back I made a post about some Pagan date ideas, and I came up with a few more!
1. For a simple date night in, make each other a playlist to play during ritual/circle as you’re hanging out, eating food or watching a movie in the background.
Upgrade: If they have deities they work with, see if you can tap into that energy and include a song or two that reminds you of that deity. It’s often quite fun for me to try to tap into Hellenistic energies for my wife, for example! (I work with the Irish pantheon!)Â
2. Do something local that you might not think about for your deities! For example, see a local high school/community college play in honor of Dionysus, or visit a local fresh water spring for Brighid!Â
3. Have a spa night together - make sugar scrubs, body butters etc and use herbs like lavender to induce peace. Pachouli lotion anyone? All genders/non-gendered folk deserve to have nice skin!Â
4. Go to an antique or thrift store and try to sense the past lives of an object around you (be sure to cleanse anything if you buy it, and make sure your shields and wards are up!)Â
5. Go to your local beading/gemstone shop and pick out a stone for each other to keep in your car/purse/backpack for safe travels.
6. Use your intuition to drive/walk somewhere you’ve never been before! Wherever you end up is where you’re supposed to be. Take a selfie, and make this a special spot! (Be safe, don’t go into private areas, make sure your phones are charged if you need GPS to get out of there.)Â
7. Practice divination together - hold up a card so they can’t see what it is and try to take turns guessing!Â
8. Pray or meditate together, either at the same time, or guide each other on a meditation, or find a recording on youtube and do it that way!Â
9. Visit a local nature area and pick up some trash for local wildlife and Mama Earth.Â
10. Depending on weather head to your local garden center to buy each other a new plant baby. Give it lots of good energy, happy words, and maybe a gemstone buddy or two. (Make sure you research what plants are safe around housepets! Also, make sure the center doesn’t use sprays on them if that’s something you’re against!)Â
