Fun at 5am with this pal. Best of luck for the Bacardi legacy brother and remember legacy is not you make but what you carry. #risingwind (at Singapore, Singapore)
Dragons are curious creatures. Their brains are complex, and they just so happen to be self aware. As such, they have figured out ways to adapt to their enviornment and protect their livelihoods, if they are threatened.
The Riverbreath Clan is probably the only faction that hasn't taken on the human shapeshifting entirely. They aren't particularly threatened by the strange, warbling land creatures. The Riverbreath Clan knows very little about the human race, since they have little effect on their lives and enviornment.
Thus each faction of dragons is immensely different. They all have their own culture and muddled emotions when it comes to humans.
The Riverbreath Clan probably cares the least about humans, but the Risingwind Clan most probably cares the most about the fragile, fleshy creatures. Risingwind dragons are more commonly known to dislike humans. They are entirely disgusted by them, and can barely help their often overwhelming desire to rip humans limb from limb in the most gruesome manner they can imagine.
Risingwind dragons are often at the head of a deadend murder case. Humans can't track dragons. They have constantly changing fingerprints and their appearance can change if it becomes a necessary action. Most Risingwind dragons aren't so impulsive as to kill a human in an uncalculated manner. Also, the human often ends up as the dragon's dinner, since dragons don't particularly enjoy killing for pure amusement.
Alex and Gavin Risingwind
Alex Risingwind is the heir to the house, Draconus. She is a nobleblood, if you will. That is why she is able to take on the Kingdom's representing name "Risingwind" when she takes on human shape.
Because of this, however, she is expected to attend to the great Risingwind succession meeting. This note leads us to Gavin Risingwind.
Gavin Risingwind is a prince, a pure Risingwind. As such, it is his duty to make sure all the noblebloods know that a succession meeting is being called at the Risingwind estate. Alex Risingwind is not reachable by conventional means, so now the prince and one of the potential heirs to the Risingwind Kingdom must hunt down the odd, female dragon.

A pair of golden eyes track over the landscape. A long, scaled back arches toward the sky before a majestically spiked head points at the starry sky to let out a small puff of flames and smoke. The dragon slowly moved across the grass, its shape taking on that of a mere human's.
Now brown eyes gazed upon a small town. The boy's black hair fell into his eyes a bit despite the spiking of it in the back. He wandered into the village, gazing curiously as the people that were wandering about. Great, cacophonous noises clashed all around his ears. Humans were so loud. His eyes were drawn to the fires that were placed in every part of the town.
His nose pulled a single scent out of all the mixtures of smells. He turned toward the source. A man lay on the dirt, clutching his face, blood slipping through his calloused fingers. The dragon watched curiously as the bloody human slunk away. A few people cheered and words warbled out from a particullarly loud human.
"Will anyone else challenge the great Horris?!" the gathered people cheered wildly, and a human slammed into the dragon's back. He turned on the attacker, flipping him onto his back.
"Looks like we have a wild one out there! Come on up here, sir!" the commentator said. The dragon straightened and looked directly at the loud human. He slowly made his way through the crowd, knowing full well that no human was stronger than he.
"And what is your name, challenger?" the man asked.
"Gavin Risingwind," the dragon answered, glaring into the overly talkative human's eyes. He was one of the great dragons from the Risingwind Clan. The clan was calling for a new heir, and so all the dragons were on the move, although humans seemed to remain rather oblivious to the entire event.
There were four major dragon clans; Risingwind, Dreadmoor, Fallingmount, and Riverbreath. They were all descendants of the original dragons, and the most powerful.
Gavin turned toward Horris fearlessly as a hush fell over the crowd. They eyed the relaxed dragon nervously, since he appeared too lanky to be able to do much at all to the bulky man that stood across from him. The human launched himself at Gavin who merely side-stepped and implanted his foot in the middle of the human's back. Horris fell splayed out on the ground, groaning in a pained voice.
Gavin's brown eyes turned toward the sky. He was looking for another Risingwind dragon; Alex. Where had she ventured off to?
