I'm all for people standing up for their race and saying he's Hispanic, but the fact of the matter is he's part white. If you're any fraction of white, you get treated better by an almost all white jury. I'm not disrespecting white people and I'm not saying we need to be angry at the white race for mistakes like this, but how are you going to tell this generation that you don't get treated better? You took over this land from the Native American people, you enslaved the African Americans, you treated Asians like trash.. Filipino and Chinese alike, and you blamed all the Japanese in America for a bombing that happened in a country a hundred some miles away from them... You drove out different religious groups like the Mormons, you didn't even like the Irish at a point in time... Correct me if I'm wrong, but does that sound like a peaceful people to you? And despite all those things... Our people and the many cultures and races you did wrong are still in America, loyal to our country. This just makes me think of how our world really works.
