RIP Arnold Palmer. I had the pleasure of taking this portrait of Arnold Palmer in 2007 at The Bay Hill Country Club in Orlando. _ When my grandfather died a few years ago, my mom gave me a few of his belongings that she thought would be meaningful for me. One of the items was a hat that I had asked Arnold Palmer to sign for my grandfather at the shoot. I will never forget the day I told him that I was flying to Orlando to photograph one of his idols - he was so excited and couldn’t stop talking about it to his friends and fellow golf buddies. This one hurts more than I thought it would - I’ve grown to love the game of golf myself and this is the loss of a true legend and gentleman of the game. Miss you Bennie Moschetti. Maybe you and Arnold can play 18 now? _ #arnoldpalmer #fanlegend #arnoldpalmer #classact #ArnoldPalmer #TheKing #golflegend #golf #RIPTheKing #classact #golflegend #bayhillcountryclub
