One of my closest friends passed away unexpectedly on 02/20/21. I found out on Thursday morning and I’m still processing my #grief I keep trying to post something but everything I come up with feels like it falls short of the tribute he deserves. I hope he knew how much we loved him. There will probably be several more posts in the coming days/weeks. I need to check my external hard drive for copies of pictures long lost from phones and computers that no longer work. I can’t take credit for this photo. I stole it from his Facebook. I don’t think he’d mind. I never got to go back to #Hawaii and we never did get to go check out the Toilet Bowl. Not that I would brave it even though I know how to swim now. Last year we discussed plans to go to Las Vegas for the Grand Slam of Curling. He knows nothing about curling beyond my obsession over it (and the Men of Curling Calendar I sent him), but he was down to spend a week freezing our butts off to watch... then C19 hit and the event got cancelled. The world flipped upside down. The last time we saw each other we had way too many Voodoo Donuts from Universal Studios.
