I didn't include Prattles and Mood Candy because those are candies, and as thus don't qualify - think of these as things Edaline would bake you after a bad day.

I had very low expectations going in given Shannon’s track record with other baked goods recipes in the past. For those unaware she has a tendency in the keeper recipes to add an ungodly amount of mix-ins that practically turn everything into globs of sugar goop.

However!! These are basically brownies with an Andes mint in the center and melted on top, so there are no mix-in atrocities here! Only tiny embellishments to a normal brownie recipe. Very straightforward and simple, you can actually taste the baked good portion and aren’t wading through oceans of melted mix-ins

It’s got a normal amount of sweetness and you can eat the whole thing in one sitting without feeling like your teeth are rotting out of your face. Without mix-ins it’s got a regular brownie texture (the chocolates will set after cooling, so no melty consistency). If you enjoy mint chocolate, odds are you’ll like these.
