The 100 Episode 4.10 Takeaways

1. Once again, everything the characters try to accomplish is pointless and the episode’s arc has no bearing on the ultimate conclusion. And this time, they killed off several of my favorite characters in the same episode! WTF is happening this season?! 2. Why is Luna suddenly a bloodthirsty psycho? I kept waiting for her to stand up and become a leader. Peacefully. Like she’s preached about all season! 3. I loved Octavia’s arc. There was some great setup with Indra and Luna about being “one clan,” like Lincoln wanted. 4. Kinda surprised Ilian went out. I honestly didn’t think everyone would die. If anything, I expected more alliance talk. Thank god Indra wasn’t involved. I couldn’t have handled her death too. 5. Why is Gaia running the show anyway? She’s like 12. I guess she’s impartial? I did enjoy that nice mother/daughter hug though. 6. Bellamy’s heartfelt exchange with Roan about Octavia while she listened was the best! The faster they reconcile the better. 7. With Roan’s death, Octavia and Kane are the only two reliable people left in the world. Octavia was so right on calling Skaikru out for gassing the grounders. They really have turned into the Mountain Men. 8. Assuming it doesn’t even matter, because nothing does apparently, but is Echo still banished or what. She should have fought in Roan’s place. I can’t believe she outlived him! 9. So how on earth was stealing the bunker Clarke’s plan? She’s been trying to save everyone all season, and now all of a sudden she’s flipped the switch? It’s so out of character. And she said the exact opposite in the first ten minutes of the show. Are we supposed to believe that one conversation with Roan changed her mind? 10. And Jaha was so quick to give Clarke all the credit (i.e. all the blame) when Bellamy confronted them. Dick move. And we’re missing the scene where Abby goes apeshit about leaving Kane behind. I suppose that’ll have to wait until next week, where I’m sure it won’t matter and they’ll do the lottery thing anyway. 11. LASTLY I CAN’T FUCKING BELIEVE THAT ROAN AND LUNA ARE DEAD WHY IS THIS HAPPENING THEY WERE MY FAVORITES WE WILL NOT MEET AGAIN 😭😭

Tonight we are victorious!! I really love all of the characters on this post. I know many people didn’t want Octavia to be with Ilian but Octavia loved Lincoln, he will always be a part of her. After Lincoln died Octavia fell out of who she was, the person Lincoln was, the part that lived on inside her. Same as Ilian and his parents. They helped each other, by showing pain is the only emotion to feel. I really admired Ilian as a character. I also loved Luna. She always tried to show that peace is the answer. She tried her hardest to convince people that war isn’t going to solve anything. She believed that, or at least she tried. This is the way Luna was told she had to be her whole life. The person she was raised to be. Some times people can lose themselves and can’t come back, I think Luna lost herself before she was old enough to have a choice. She was forced into this, she was too pure, but she couldn’t escape the person that people wanted her to be, she couldn’t escape the person she was. She truly was a hero. Roan was a king who did what was right. He made alliances, smart ones, ones that he never should’ve. He was an amazing king. An amazing person. He fought for who he was. I don’t have much to say about him other than he was one of my favourite characters. Yu gonplei ste odon Luna kom floukru, Roan kom azgeda and Ilian kom trishankru.

Octavia kom skaikru, Octavia kom trikru, skairipa, the girl they found hidden in the floor, Octavia Blake, Lincoln would be proud.
