no, really. as one of the biggest idols in fontaine, the magician is in awe of your talent. you were both performers yet, you were both so different. lyney's performances relied on illusions, trickery, lies. however, you were born with it. a voice that easily made his card tricks look abysmal. no amount of rabbits pulled out of a hat would compare to your natural talent

as promised, here are my notes on the body language of our immortal dictator from the arlington show.

He spends the start of the show with hands resting on the arms of the throne and follows How I Disappear with a light round of applause.

During Sharpest Lives his hands are still on the arm rests but will occasionally tap his index fingers. Then we get to Ray's solo and he is clenching and unclenching his fists before returning his hands to the armrest, this time gripping the armrest. The song ends and his hands are folded in front of him.

He then spends majority of wttbp with his fingers laced and resumes the finger tapping towards the end of the song, it finished and his hands are once again clasped in front of him. His hands remain folded during I Don't Love You.

He returns to the 'neutral' hands on armrests position until midway through House of Wolves, where he slowly cracks his knuckles a few time. I missed part of it but I believe he pulled out a black glove as the Clerk was walking towards Gerard for the pre-cancer slap. He does lightly applaud at the end of the song.

For most of Mama his arms are on the armrest but his hands are gently moving back and forth like a conductor, he returns to the index finger tapping during the pre-chorus (specifically 'i should have been a better son'). Towards the end during the pyrotechnics he returns to the conducting motion and ends the song with light applause and fingers steepled.

During Sleep his fingers are laced in his lap until 'three cheers for tyranny' where he goes to gripping the armrests. During the pre-chorus he is once again slowly clenching and unclenching his fists, then spends the remainder of the song with his fingers laced.
