Rin really had to wonder if a single sprinkle even made it on to his birthday cake, or if his son had really been so careless to spill them all over the floor for Seishiro to sweep up.

I think Nagisa always tries to travel with Rin, to watch his races, no matter what. And when he can't, he organizes these small parties in their house and invite their friends, to watch Rin (and Haru too, usually) on TV, but he always gets sad for not being there with his Rinrin. So, Rin decides to show him that he knows that Nagisa is rooting for him: before the race, when the cameras are filming him, he always makes a sign that only Nagisa can recognize (he is just that romantic, hehe).
Aww, cute! I can see Rin making like, a heart or something, and the commentators and press speculating who itβs for, thinking itβs a sign to his fans. And Nagisa seeing it and making it right back at the TV XD
Rin sharing kimchi buns with Nagisa (isn't kimchi Rin's favorite food). I love the friendship between these two. Especially considering that in the light novel, it was Rin who spent the most time teaching and correcting Nagisa'a butterfly stroke.
I know!! I LOVE how Nagisa has always hero-worshipped Rin since they were young, and this is SO IMPORTANT to Rinβs growth as well because it motivates him to be a better swimmer (very much the same way you pet dog looks up to you with so much love and trust youβre just like MUST NOT DISAPPOINT lol). Even though the prototype character profiles stated that both Haruka and Rin were βnot good with Nagisa,β I donβt think it means they dislike him, but more like Nagisa is such a whirlwind of a personality they are not used to being dragged into his spontaneous actions (and finding themselves not hating it as much as they expected.) And we all know how much Nagisa loves bonding over food so that endcard wouldβve been SO SO GOOD. :DDD

1. How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals?
They fall asleep snuggling, but sometime in the night Rin starts kicking off the covers and Nagisa manages to simultaneously cling and starfish, so who know how they wake up? lol.Β
They donβt have that many rituals, but Rin wakes up stupidly early and jogs in the morning everyday before breakfast and sometimes Nagisa will join him, but most of the time heβd rather lie in and time his getting ready so that they can have breakfast together. They always have breakfast together before they separate for the day.Β
12. Is there a wedding? What was the proposal like? Any kind of honeymoon?
Oh man, their proposal is one of my funniest head!canons. Rin has it all planned out, itβs going to be amazing, check it: Tokyo Disneyland day trip where he buys Nagisa all the ice creams he wants and lets him pull them onto all of the rides, then wind down to the parade and heβll put out the ring under the fireworks. Heβs run it past everyone else and they all agree itβs perfect for Nagisa.Β
On the day, Rin has the ring safely put away in his backpack, because he doesnβt want it falling out of his pocket on a ride. But he doesnβt factor in that Nagisa has a gift. A gift that he usually inflicts on others - to his fortune, but maybe not theirs - though it does, on occassion, turn on him. The gift of completely unintentionally ruining a moment. He ends up finding the ring in the bag while rummaging in there looking for something else and as soon as he sees it, he pops it straight on his finger, shouting,Β βI do, Rin-chan! I do!βΒ
Rinβs plans fall apart in one fell swoop. He tells Nagisa this and Nagisa only replies,Β βWell, you can still go through with it, Rin-chan. Iβm not giving back the ring though!β lol, XD
I feel like the wedding would be big because Nagisa would think of it as something to celebrate with everyone, rather than just a ceremony. Though heβd think running away and eloping would be cool and adventurous too, but in the end itβs more fun if everyoneβs there. And the honeymoon would have to be somewhere exotic - perhaps an island resort in Fiji?
33. What kind of presents do they get each other? Do they only do it on special occasions?
Theyβre super casual with presents and most of them are plushies or the kind of random crap you get at souvenir stands, like the little teddy bears in national dress. They always win each other stuff at festival stands and god help Rin if Nagisa sees a shark plushie, because heβs determined to collect them all. But also - food. They just turn up with little bits food for each other, like cup cakes or street snacks <3
