#sam bought me a ring with a hand etched rose⚘#im a size five#the artist had this#ring sizer#and gently sized me while talking about his work#it was the first one he etched so the lines are a little clumsy#i think i like it better that way#and then it was#champange on the porch#running through a sudden downpour#finding a baby snapping turtle on an adandoned golfcart turnes park and holding it up for sam to pat its tiny head#im glad i stayed alive for this#im glad to have a present
