Hi hi, it has been a while! I’ve been pretty busy, trying to find the work- (fashion, art, personal growth) life balance & i’m getting it slowly but surely. read moreÂ
Got me a new hair-do, which at some point over the week, I will go over (very interesting, controversial stuff i’ve experienced by simply having a more “professional, attractive” look..<.<) missing my fro and braids i cannot lie.Â
Anyway, about the outfit- I was running a few errands! got my first print request for a piece! Which brings me to the announcement that soon I will be putting my artwork prints up for sale!!!  I’ve had them floating around the Interweb for a while and realize that I need to get this ball rolling! then a went to meet a friend in Brick lane & had a late lunch in a Syrian Restaurant. It was amazing, the manager was extremely kind to us, constantly giving us their complementary sweets- it was my cheat day so I had to indulge. (two weeks into a lifestyle change! I will go over this next week!) a pretty casual outfit for a casual day.Â
unfortunately no moral of the outfit today! Just getting back into the swing of things (; Â
one thing i will say as a precursor to my following posts over the next week or so is: NO EXCUSES.Â
Happy Sunday (:Â
Understanding can never be a trend.
I find that the majority of people can quote Ghandi...or Marley..Jesus or Mandela but lead their lives showing little regard for the "messages" that they supposedly agree with and understand. Yes, it is likely that they agree. But if they cannot practice or show something for the "message" they feel so "passionate" about or (in today's Modern World) comfortable putting up on their social networking page or reciting it in an attempt to inspire others, they do not understand the "message" expressed...."messages" or words by the greats are not just made to be received. They exist as lessons. They are made to teach. You can only understand what you learn. You learn by listening to and processing the true essence of what is being said or read. To know is one thing & to understand is another..... Be careful when surrounding yourself with a bunch of people that simply know but do not understand.
