How Web Dungeon became a 100% Dart Application

In my previous post, I wrote about evaluating four Dart frameworks to see if any of them could replace my current Dart + Grails concoction. Web Dungeon and Map Editor Fixed – and 100% Dart

I have fixed the issues with the Dungeon Map Editor, so don’t go to the bodgy Google Drive version. I have added the editor to the Game Site.

No More Grails

I have taken a big step and replaced Grails with Rikulo Stream.  Web Dungeon is 100% Dart, both browser code and web server, and works with all modern browsers (IE is not a modern browser).  I will post my reasons in a later post.

Dungeon Map Editor Released – Version 0.1

 Finally, I have uploaded the dungeon editor and it’s ready for initial use and feedback. Sort of.

I have uploaded it, but not as part of the WebDungeon game site. I have uploaded it as a straight Dart-as-javascript and HTML onto my Google Drive.

What happened to the WebDungeon Grails and Dart app?

I’m not sure yet, but the short answer is that the dungeon editor does not play nice…
