Jeong Sewoon, H1-KEY, Xdinary Heroes Participate in 'Idol Audio Class

K-pop artists such as Jeong Sewoon, Xdinary Heroes (Jungsu and Junhan), and H1-KEY (Seoi and Riina) will personally read literary works from textbooks. This is audio content prepared by the Ministry of Education and EBS to increase youth access to literature.

The second season of 'Idol Audio Class,' titled 'Literature from Textbooks, Read by Idols,' premiering on August 19th.

This audio content series allows listeners to experience poems, novels, and essays found in high school literature curriculum through the voices of K-pop artists. It was designed to help enhance the literary imagination and literacy of teenagers by allowing them to listen to the works without visual stimulation. Together, the invited artists will read a total of 30 literary works from the textbooks in a relay format, each using their own voice. Going beyond simply reading the works, the artists will also share their personal impressions, commentary, and messages of empathy. The plan is to move beyond literature studied for exams and convey the stories and emotions of the works themselves in a more accessible way.

'Idol Audio Class' was produced in an audio format to allow diverse learners, including visually impaired students and students from multicultural families, to access the content regardless of time or place.
