Hi! These are excellent questions! This became a longer lore than I thought so be prepared... :)

On their first month anniversary Regulus takes Rita out to dinner to a fine dining restaurant. As they wait for the third of ten courses, he gets lost on checking his stocks on his phone and Rita naturally gets upset because she wants his attention. She tells him he should do better on their next anniversary.

Gathering information isn't going so well because Regulus loves to talk about himself and his barrister work more than his family members, but Regulus is boring and hasn't done anything remotely interesting that would be worth writing about. Regardless, Rita has come to enjoy the luxury lifestyle that Regulus provides, and after a few misses he has learned to please her in a mediocre way in the bedroom too.

So for their second month anniversary he flies her to Marbella, Spain for a romantic weekend getaway. One night they get tipsy (or Rita pretends to be more tipsy than she is to encourage Regulus to spill something scandalous about his uncle Alphard) and go out for a walk and come across a tattoo studio. Rita has just expressed that she doubts whether Regulus really loves her because he won't event tell her about his gay uncle's dead lover, and Regulus decides to prove her how much he loves her. She says as a joke that in that case he should have a tattoo of her so he'll never forget her.

Inspired by this, he takes a grainy picture of her on his phone and beckons her to follow him inside the tattoo studio. She is surprised but since this may as well be something for her to write about, she allows Regulus to do what his drunken brain thinks is a great idea... get a tattoo of her face on his thigh to show her he will love her forever. As the tattoo artist starts to put ink on him, Regulus sobers up a little and cries at first, but Rita gives him some vodka she took from their hotel minibar (in case she herself at any point needs an emergency shot). Soon the alcohol dulls the pain again. She doesn't hold his hand but files her nails as she waits for his tattoo to be ready.

Hello! I see what you did there. 😂 It just so happens I have one particular fic where Rita appears. Make you feel my love chapter 6 has a lot of mentions of her and it would spoil it if I used all of them so here are a chosen few:

While the wound healed, that part of the tattoo, Rita’s mouth, still gets itchy right before it rains, and it rains a lot in England. __

Regulus blinks, not sure who they are, but Rita has always been a master manipulator. __

Rita sneers. "Someone's easily riled up."
