Vertical or horizontal format for logos? I prefer both (atleast one of each variant). Also, separate files for the logomark & wordmark. Then RGB, CMYK & PMS colour variants. Finally at very minimum a high resolution PNG & vector based PDF accompanied by a style guide to cover brand colours (including Web/ HTML/ Hexadecimal Colour Codes) and logo layouts. If you have read this far this may be of interest. Do you have a logo? Or are looking to get one? Do you understand everything mentioned above? If not, you may not have. But it may be good to know, happy to help - send me a message! FURTHER, If your brand colours look something like this "00FFFF" I'd assume your web designer chose them as you didn't have anything specified.
