◜ ★ ◞             Reaction time is quick, keenly aware of his surroundings that he can easily pick up enemies that hadn’t gone down as they should have. Perhaps he wasn’t as quick as the Speedster that had been sent to tag along and be of help for the mission, but he had his own wits about him. Able to pull that trigger without any hesitation or before any harm comes to the other; or even the threat of the man alarming the others. Marching out of there with security going off and guards hunting down the trespassers - was far from impossible. Combination of the two was a deadly one, and the Asset was able to easily pick up why they had been tasked to work as a tag team. Gaze narrows, and weapon is put down, slung over his shoulder by the strap. Ready and positioned in case he has to grab hold of it again. 

Blood is what catches his attention, and he pauses. Metal hand reaches out, and grasps at the chin. Touch is never quite gentle, and certainly didn’t seem to be any different this time. Act might have been considered a dangerous act, possibly even a threat, but he reaches into one of the many compartments in the leather vest. He’s always prepared, even to wipe blood off of himself, or sometimes use them to pack an injury.

 This time, he’ll use them to wipe the blood off the other. Because while blood was always such a pretty sight for the Asset, it wasn’t a good look on such a pretty face. What follows is a scoff, muddled and hardly audible through the tight mask that hugged half of his face; leaving the bridge of his nose and cheeks a pigmented and deep red that threatened to almost bleed if the mask was just the tiniest bit tighter. “They won’t be a problem if they do.” They’ll be just as easy to take down as the first one had been. Of course, he understands it’s precaution. He’s always done it. Slip in and out, with the least amount of attention as possible. “Come.” Dismissive command, weapon being slipped back into his hands as combat boots turn, making his way down the long corridor, making a straight line towards his objective. 

     when the elevator had come to a rattling halt, alec had been a little worried. no matter whether you’re afraid of small spaces or not, the situation was simply uncomfortable. no one wanted to be stuck in a close space, and risk the elevator plummeting down into the depths. 

     but pietro seemed to be doing way worse. alec already saw that the moment their eyes met. pietro’s pupils were widened, he was afraid. this here seemed to be an actual problem for him. made sense, considering he could dash wherever he wanted in a matter of seconds. to be restricted from that, it must be going against his very being, and alec noted how he seemed to almost panic more and more.

      when pietro pushed against the elevator’s wall, causing the entire elevator to rumblr and swing, alec rushed to him. “hey! hey, hey, it’s okay. it’s okay.” he wrapped his arms around the other, letting pietro rest his head against his chest. “i’ll get us out of here. everything’s okay. we’re out of here in no time.” he assured him.

Peter had fallen asleep reading for his US history test tomorrow, the book open, resting on his chest. He didn’t know how late it was and didn’t hear Pietro come in. He was too used to feeling those little gusts of wind that accompanied the inhumanly fast male wherever he went.
