Hot morning for a bike ride along the SNETT Blackstone River Bikepath in Massachusetts and Rhode Island 16.60 miles. The insect is an Asian Lady Beetle Larvae. The Berrys at Black Choke Berries.
Beautiful summer day for a bike ride along the Upper Charles Trail Milford and Holliston Massachusetts. Rode 14.21 miles. Such a great place to ride a bike.
Great 18.6 mile Bike Ride along the SNETT. Such a nice bike path in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
I logged 603 miles on All Trails. Which is surprising as we both are having medical issues. Definitely behind miles from last year. But happy to get this many so far this year.
Tomorrow I get the MRI for my knee. Hurts like heck. Bike riding makes me happy so I push thru the pain. Thanks for those of you who have been asking how I’m doing. Much appreciated. 🤗
We often times see Helmeted Guinea Fowl on one end of the Bike Path. This was the first time I heard what they sound like. Makes me smile to watch and listen to them. I got some footage will make a video later. 😍
A lifer was Sycamore Tussock Moth Caterpillar. Pretty little one but sad to see a Wasp Larvae coming out.
Parasitic wasps inject their eggs inside a living caterpillar, where the hatching larvae slowly consume the caterpillar from the inside out. What a horrible way to pass. 😢

A few weeks ago Bert made his way over from Rotterdam to pick up #187. The weather played nice and the handover went smoothly…until his return train got cancelled. 😞Some days later he wrote me about his misfortune and adventures saying, “luckily the bicycle is light so carrying up and down the stairs at train stations is not such a problem.” While that’s not exactly the #newbikeday maiden voyage I was envisioning I’m glad to see the bike past this test too.
