“R̸e̷a̸l̴i̸t̵y̸ ̷D̶i̷s̸t̶o̵r̴t̷i̶o̴n̸i̵s̷t̸ Hacker”

Rid’ is another one of those examples of “we asked if we could, but not if we should”. Starting off as just some IT worker for the Nexus Core before they were pulled and sent off to a neighboring branch for testing. The goal: to see if they could create a way to break the bounds of Reality. And they sure as hell did.

In simple terms, Riddem can be simply described as a ‘Hacker’, but it goes beyond just simple computers. Whatever crazy energy they were implanted with allows them to bend reality to their will. Letting them get the edge anytime they need it. Though given the project was pulled shortly after it started, it has it’s limitations. Some effects include:

Can summon items to their hands or on the persons. Though is limited to only things they can physically hold, and can not summon powerful artifacts.

Create energy disks that can be used as thrown weapons, to hack/control any form of tech, or even control the mind of an individual. They can take on a few different forms (usually in the style of a classic Compact Disk).

There are also a few other energy weapons they can create; various different artillery weapons. But these are strictly a last resort type deal, as the energy cost is incredibly taxing, if not harmful to their health.

Not really an ability or anything useful, but a side effect of their power is that every so often they get a glimpse between the veils of Reality, and what they’ve seen haunts them..

After the project was deemed ‘too dangerous’ to continue, they would be locked away for a quite a long time, and almost completely forgotten by everyone. But luckily they’d eventually bust out with Pin and flee the city. Going rogue and setting the goal to find a way out of Nevada..

Enjoys watching people try to ‘figure out’ what they are, and is not above messing with them.

“Dissented Mag Agent”

Part of one of the first lines of Mag produced by Nexus Core, but was never well behaved and often gave the company a headache. Especially didn’t get along with the other Mags, opting for solitary work. Opted for the role of long ranged assault. But, you know.. if you were sniping whole buildings with a beefy tank buster, essentially.

Up close, however, he solely relies on brute force and his two sickles. He may also utilize some of the other various weapons lodged into his back, but they’re much more inconvenient to handle at their tiny size.

One day Pin just kinda decided he was done with the company, ended up running across Rid’ in his break out, and the two made their escape. Only having a few sparse interactions during their time under the company, they have now grow close bonds with each other.

Some tidbits:

Likes to watch those "scariest ghosts caught on camera" type of videos

Once stabbed with a weapon, it is stuck there until he removes it himself

As you can see, however, he often just kinda forgets about them...

Eats grunt corpses

Will offer you a bite of said corpse, like it’s no big deal. like.. ok man.
