It had been a boring day in their main universe so Ricky aka Rick C-413 decided he'd take his grandson somewhere while his adopted daughter was at work, "you'll get a kick out of it Mortie the C-157 park has some of the best shit, not to mention some of the best fucking tacos on the same block" he grinned grabbing his Portal Gun and twirling it.

"I-I don't know Ricky" Mortie said softly, "what about the Rick?" he asked nervously. "We've only really seen the ones mom knows" he rubbed his hair unintentionally messing it up a bad nervous tick of his after the incident in the 'Thirsty step', "what if there's violent ones?" he could help but ask.

Ricky Sanchez approached the healing center with his daughter and grandsons following, his grandson Mortie had told her about the 'nurse Morty' that tended to him a while back and Rose had insisted on thanking the man herself. "Rosie we don't know if the kid's busy or not" he told his daughter as she walked with him holding her ten year old with ease, "what if you interrupt him" he commented.

“Good idea” Ricky grinned as his stomach growled under his shirt, “lead the way” he nodded as Mortie moved around until he was simply latched onto his grandfather’s back from behind.

(Going with Ricky)(The day Mortie started walking)

Ricky had returned from his latest adventure where his daughter sat on the floor with Mortie in front of her,“what’s up Rosie?” he asked his daughter as she tried to help Mortie standing.

"Trying to teach Mortie to walk" Rosalie told her father as she manged to get Mortie to his feet keeping his hands in hers, "stay over there Ricky, I wanna ee if he'll walk to you" she told her dad with a smile.

"C'mere Mortie" Ricky doted on his grandson, he held his hands out for the little boy.

Mortie stood up with his mommys help and looked at his grandfather, he beamed and waddled towards his grandpa holding his mommys hands.

Ricky was relaxing on the couch reading while Rose checked her kids teeth,“either a book or my ‘Gravity’ blanket” he said softly.

Rose looked up as she stopped Mortie,“my family, Pers is my godfather so he counts, nothing like the tender embrace of wings” she smiled shooing Mortie along.

“Hot cocoa and being held close” Mortie smiled softly before he yawned,“it really kicked in after the first time my grandpa let me call the shots” he said shuddering at the distant memory.

“Music” Jamie smiled before flashing his mother his teeth,“especially my moms singing” he said softly yawning and rubbing one of his eyes.

“Momma” Richie smiled showing his mother that he’d brush his teeth,“she‘s really nice and makes me feel safe” he said softly yawning softly as his mother picked him up and rubbed his back softly.
