The entrance to the Wright studio features sculpture work by friend and frequent early collaborator, Richard W. Bock (1865 - 1949). These sculptures include two figures - one of a man crouching and another of a man breaking free of the ground beneath it - one either side, decorative capitals with various representations - the tree of life, the book of knowledge, an architectural scroll and the storks as wisdom and fertility. And, just in case one should somehow forget who the architect is, a plaque carved in stone, so you can put some 'spect on his fuckin' name.
