Rich!Berensons AU
If you ask me, I think Rich!Berensons is canon to some degree. But anyways, this more headcanon-y than an AU.
Rachel
Her father’s a TV anchor and her mom's a lawyer. Her credit card has even been mentioned in some books. Girl’s totally loaded.
Ralph Lauren was her brand…. if only they’d made leotards
But of course, GAP was her main, as she certainly couldn’t hit up Ralph Lauren for her once-a-week outfit plan
GAP employees knew her face, name, cell number and house address by heart.
She knew all of the employees too.
The moment she heard someone became a Controller that’s an employee, she’d use her good rep to get them fired.
Couldn’t stand it known Tobias would sometimes demorph and walk around in a leotard and barefooted, so not only would she buy him wardrobes, she’d hide them in strategic places around town for him.
A Calvin Klein was opening in the city, but they got word it’d be a Yeerk pool entrance (so they just had to wreck it). Don’t tell anyone, but she totally cried
You always wanted Rachel to be your Secret Santa because you know she’d show up with those good Tommy Hilfiger products.Â

She bought Cassie an Hermès scarf once, a token of her gay affection.
It was all fun and games till Cassie spilled milk on her hands at lunch once.
She wiped her hands on the scarf.

Jake
His dad’s a doctor. Maybe not as rich as Rachel but definitely rollin’ in it.
He tries hard not to be a brand-monger like Rachel. Oh-so hard.
Doesn’t work. Son is spoiled and he doesn’t even know it.
“Jake, how much was that watch?!” “Uh… about $500? How would I know, Cassie?”
His parents buy him DKNY and he has no idea.
Always stuntin’ the brand new Air Jordans at school.
100% the “fetch me bleach and a toothbrush”kid when his shoes get stained.
Was lowkey upset he had to switch shoe brands because they kept getting ruined on missions.
Made Marco feel sad one too many times because he (Marco) couldn’t afford those nice shoes at all
It’s okay though,Marco took every opportunity to joke about his Sketchers so he grew to love them
Would buy Cassie custom-made clothes (that kept to her style of flannel, jeans, overalls, tees,etc) but never told her
Frequently tried to spoil her with gifts but he actually had no idea what to get, so he just bought the most expensive things
Always treated Marco (and secretely Tobias) to video game/arcade sessions
