I'm currently in the middle of my end of year exams (ikr in July 😭)

Did my osces, which were probably my worst osces I've had so far, might do a separate post on that later, that mess deserves it.

Now I've just got my written exams left, one tomorrow and then other one literally the day after.

I'm gonna be honest, after doing 6 hours of study the day before yesterday, I ended up doing absolutely 0 studying yesterday. Was it a meaningful break? No, I spent the whole day feeling guilty.

How do you communicate to a guy asking to hangout, that you're down to meet but it's strictly friend vibes only. I know the guy irl through uni, but haven't seen each other for a while, the texts have been slightly flirty from his side, so just wanna make it clear that I'm not interested in anything beyond friends. But at the same time I dont want to make it too bait and make it awkward .

Okay yeah this is not a hypothetical situation .

So the text is "So are you down to hang out?"

A day of online lectures. Then managed to spend the whole day revising PMOS (previously known as pcos). That's the thing with studying med, things just keep changing all the time. The name change does fit with the pathophysiology of the condition much better imo. Especially since having cysts is not a mandatory diagnostic criteria.

Also reviewed some neuro + cancer topics.

Had a simulation session on breaking bad news in the afternoon, so naturally, I spent the first half of the day sort of waiting around, dreading this session.

It was my first experience with practising breaking bad news, but it turned out to be okay in the end. There was an actor, and we each took turns practising fake scenarios where we had to break some sort of bad news to the fake patient.
