Never donated for a cause? No worries. Dump an ice bucket on your head. Wait, that's not enough? You better donate money for the cause. Bullocks! A bucket of rice is worth more than donating money for a cause like ALS. Hmm, what about that beggar on the road? Oh, he's just a fraud.

This is how India does the 'Ice' Bucket Challenge
India has ditched the viral Ice Bucket Challenge and replaced it with a more appropriate Rice Bucket Challenge. Instead of pouring buckets of ice and water over their heads, people in India have been filling a bucket with rice and giving it to local people in need. Started by an Indian journalist, Manju Latha Kalanidhi, this new challenge is about donating the bucket rather than wasting it over your head. And like every good social media campaign, you're asked to snap a video or photo of your gesture and post it online with the hashtag #RiceBucketChallenge. The first donation was made Sunday and the movement’s Facebook page has more than 35 thousand likes so far. According to the World Bank, 312 million people in India live below the poverty line. Since the Ice Bucket Challenge began, there have been a few spin-offs including a rubble challenge by residents of Gaza, which saw them pour concrete dust and broken bricks from their destroyed homes over their heads.
#Pass the bucket.
