Congolese music industry for economic growth
This dissertation aims to find and to present a canal for the promotion of the musical industry of the DRC (Democratic Republic of the Congo). This country is famous in Africa for his fabulous mining resources and also for the vivacity of his music. Congolese rumba and soukous are the titles given to it. In the context of a new foundation of the congolese state which has been characterized by many crises during the last decade of the 20 th century, actions trying to bring to order national vital sectors are increasing. For instance, culture and arts assessment in general, and congolese music’s international seminary in particular, both meetings organized by the Ministry of culture and arts in Kinshasa in 2006, have made up a non lighting board and have given proposals.
It is for implementing of one of the proposals about the constitution of an appropriate congolese musical industry that the project of a web site, argued in the main articulations of this paper, takes place. More, the potentialities that offer ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) must not be avoided if we need to take part of this world ‘’globalized’’ and continue to exist at the international scale. The musical sector must benefit from that.
Many musical web sites already exist in congolese web sphere. Although, this dissertation envisages, describes and comments a particular manner to deal with goals and articulation of a congolese web site focused on music promotion. It is by the fact of reading the following pages that the reader will be able to understand.
