Hiroki stood by the walls of the Decker’s nuclear plant HQ with a cigarette in his hand and his looking towards the night sky. It hadn’t been that long since he finally regained the memories of who he actually used to be, and still he couldn’t believe how much he missed out on. His brother was now dead, one of his nephews ruled the akuji clan with an iron first, and his sister was now Japan’s prime minister - though she somehow had been able to ‘not find’ any evidence that he ever existed or was a legal Japanese citizen. How convenient.
Needless to say, the copy of that biased, lie-filled auto-biography she wrote was burning not too far from his feet, lit on fire by Hiroki himself.
Inhaling and exhaling the smoke from his cigarette again, he shook his head. At least finishing an ‘overdue’ assignment was good at relieving some of his tension about his recent trip back ‘home’, and in fact on that note he remembered why he was heading off to the Dekcers’ HQ in the first place.
Putting out his cigarette and tossing it inside, Hiroki quietly walked inside. He was hoping someone would be around willing and able to help him with the business he had to take care of.
