Pegasus turned his head to face Delia as she knocked on the opened door. He looked a little bit like he lacked at least two hours of sleep, but at least he was properly dressed and not in his sleeping attire.
âAh, Delia. Please, come in. I made four of them this time...â
As she did so, he stepped aside to show her the new paintings that he made. Three of them were portraits of men, and the last a woman. The first portrait was a man with a brooding darkness around him, with dark brown hair, some dramatic clothing, staring as if he was looking directly at the viewer.Â
The second portrait was of another man, but with longer, whitish hair, fully clothed but he looked absolutely drenched, as if stepping out of the sea, looking like he was ready to explore whatever shore he walked upon.
The third portrait was of a man with two noticeable prosthetic limbsâa whole metal left arm and a metal lower left leg. He wore an eyepatch that covered the entire left side of his face, and he looked like he was waiting in anticipation, to arrive somewhere.
The fourth portrait, the woman, was beautiful. She had voluminous blonde hair that was shoulder length, her grey-blue eyes twinkling in the light of the studio. She wore this gorgeous, light blue dress, almost princess-like with its frills and layers, but she looked like she was...searching for someone, concern forming upon her face.
âThe good news is, I recognize two of them alreadyâthe woman and the man with the eyepatch and metal limbs. In fact, I know the manâhis name is Lucius Arganan, and I actually previously made arrangements for him to visit me. Heâs a historian studying games, and his focus of study is Duel Monsters right now. He should be arriving in the next few days, so at least we know when heâs coming...heâs perfectly human, by the way, like Kamiizumi.â
A sigh left him as he looked towards the first two portraits, and then towards Delia as he frowned. âBad news, I donât recognize the other twoâthe vampiric-looking one and the drenched one. The more confusing news?â He pointed at the womanâs portrait. âThis...this is Cecilia. Sheâs dead.âÂ
So why did I paint her? How is she supposed to arrive here at some point if sheâs dead...?Â
