Pictures of upcoming venues Ri-Ri is about to play on the ANTI World Tour
By the time she’s 28 years old, Rihanna will be the first pop girl from the current generation to join the LEGEND’S LEAGUE OF FOOTBALL STADIUM FILLERS, on an ENTIRE European tour leg.
Here are venues on the itinerary that she hasn’t played at, as she’s already filled venues like Paris’ Stade de France, Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium and Sunderland’s Stadium of Light:
1. Amsterdam Arena, Amsterdam (Tina Turner)
2. Wembley Stadium, London (Bruce Springsteen)
3. Tele2 Arena, Stockholm (Madonna)
4. San Siro, Milan (Madonna)
5. Volkspark Stadion, Hamburg (Depeche Mode)
6. Commerzbank-Arena, Frankfurt (U2)
7. Olympiastadion, Munich (Michael Jackson)
8. Ernst-Happel-Stadion (Rolling Stones)
9. PGE Narodowy, Warsaw (Coldplay).
This icon may not be the greatest singer, dancer, artist etc. but she's more than proven herself and will continue to be imprinted in the minds of generations to come just from these touring achievements alone. No one will come close yet. Not Beyonce. Not Taylor. Not Katy. Not Gaga. Not Miley. Not Ariana.
And 'ANTI' isn't even out yet.
Let's see how the ticket sales will go, despite heavy competition from Adele. The European leg is pretty ambitious and it looks like Ri-Ri has something to prove. If she's successful, then she'll be the first black performer since Michael Jackson and Tina Turner to slay football stadiums so comprehensively. Her ‘stadium status’ will be indisputable. Sorry Bee-Hive (two dates at Stade de France and numerous European arena dates in 2013 and 2014 don’t count).
